What does it take for someone to earn your trust?

Trust is freely given...you don't have to earn trust with me, unless you destroy my trust - then it has to be rebuilt.

I know this attitude of being open to all will get me hurt - but for the want of the vast majority I will take on any injury I may receive from implicitly trusting others. We all have both good and evil...if you fear what others might do - you are inviting the bad; but if you trust others, you invite the good.
